It will appear– UNLESS you take action to get the records SEALED and EXPUNGED.

Contact Law enforcement in your state and find out what you need to do to get your records sealed and expunged.

I work at a government facility and I am currently entering data for background checks… they do a preliminary police record check and if all is well with your record it shouldnt be an issue. But they may ask you to provide something from the arresting police station to show that the charges were dropped or never filed, etc…. I know this because I had to do it for a prior arrest that I had myself. Pending anything major or felonies I think you should be ok… GOOD LUCK!

It very well may show up, but in some cases, the dispositions are on the records check too. Not always though. If I were you, I would see if you could get one done (I think you probably will have to pay for it) and see what all is on there about it.
